There is this hippie little store in my hometown called "City Buddha". I wandered in there and found Ganesha's in different sizes. The first one I bought ended up at my brother's bedside in his final days. I bought another and he came home with me and found his way to my nightstand. Ganesha is the Hindu God of obstacles. Every element in this painting has a cultural signifigance.
I gave him brown skin and added egyptian symbolism to make him my own.
He was also a live painted piece.
